When did you join Christie Insurance?

I joined Christie Insurance in June 2025.

Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie Insurance?

I was in my home town when I accepted the role.

What was your first job?

My first job was working in waitressing.

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie Insurance?

In my role as an Account Handler, I provide dedicated support to Sales Executives by handling client communications and addressing queries. My goal is to ensure that clients’ needs are met efficiently and professionally throughout the duration of their policy.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie Insurance?

One of the aspects I value most is the dynamic and evolving company culture. Being part of a team that embraces change and encourages continuous learning every day is incredibly rewarding.

What’s a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie Insurance so far?

I really enjoy working with my team across both general and life insurance. Every day is different, and I’m always learning something new!

What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far?

Transitioning from working in a single insurance sector to understanding the diverse range of sectors within the company has been a valuable learning experience. I’ve been fortunate to have incredible support from my team, which has helped me adapt quickly and confidently to my new role.

What’s been a highlight of your career so far?

The company offers an incredible range of opportunities and helps employees develop their careers and achieve their full potential.

How has the industry changed since you started at Christie Insurance?

The insurance market is constantly evolving, and it’s key to understand current market trends. Maintaining strong communication with clients and understanding their demands and needs is our driving force.

Who in your industry do you feel most inspired by?

It’s truly refreshing to work alongside colleagues who are open to sharing knowledge and supporting one another’s growth.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?

Going to the gym, listening to podcasts, visiting cafés, and baking.

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?

I live in Bedford.

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?

So far, Washington & New York.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Not sure! I either have none or too many to list…

If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?

Maybe Japan.

What would be your desert island meal?

Steak and chips.

What’s your favourite film?

The Batman trilogy.

“Just keep swimming.”

What is one thing on your bucket list?

To go to Japan & South Korea.
