When did you join Christie Insurance?
I joined in October 2023 right at the very beginning! It was off the back of my maternity leave ending so felt like a proper fresh start.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies?
I love spending time with my husband and my son. I used to horse ride which will always be something I love. Now my main hobby is reading and writing. I’m very creative so I’m always imagining ideas for me to write and I’m working on one at the moment that I’m really excited about!

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now?
I guess it would be Banbury in Oxfordshire, I now live in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire after buying my first house in May 2024.

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday?
It has to be Sicily when I was younger. We stayed in a villa that had it’s own orange and lemon trees so the owners would bring us fresh oranges every morning. We got to walk up Mount Etna which was amazing being that close to an active volcano and I got to go horse riding where we went through forests and across a huge river and finally galloped along the beach. The country is just stunning, and the food was incredible!

What’s your favourite thing about Christie Insurance?
It has to be the team and the flexibility we’re given around work. The team I work with are fantastic and have an amazing attitude to serving our clients, doing the best we can to show them the value of the Christie Group and why the way we do broking is so effective. It’s also great being able to work flexibly between being in the office and working from home as it enables me to have a much healthier work/life balance which I believe is very important.

What is one thing on your bucket list?
A holiday to Australia. I’d love to go and visit Australia Zoo with my son as I think it would be an incredible experience. I also absolutely adore Flying Foxes and would love to visit a sanctuary there and lastly, we’d have to time it right so there was an England v Australia cricket match on so my husband, my son and I could go and watch as we are big fans!
